Why shouldn’t I write my own CV – I know more about my career than anyone else?!
Of course, there’s nothing to stop you writing your own CV! However, most people only occasionally move jobs or look at CVs. Having a professionally written CV which makes you stand out from the crowd could very well make the difference between landing that dream job and never being invited to interview. Our consultants are all highly experienced in the recruitment industry and have evaluated or written thousands of CVs. They know how a CV needs to be written and laid out to achieve maximum impact.
How much do your services cost?
Our CV writing prices start at £40. We have classified our CV writing services as Bronze, Silver and Gold. These classifications relate to the amount of work involved in meeting your needs effectively. We endeavour to maximize your chances of job search success whilst delivering excellent value for money. I have found a cheaper CV writing company – why can't you match their prices?
The quality of your CV is likely to be one of the biggest determinants of the career and salary level you achieve. Therefore we would hope that your choice of professional CV writer would not be based on price alone. Even if you paid £150 – 200 for a really high quality service, this will pale into insignificance when you’re offered that great new role at the salary you deserve.
How do I pay?
We can accept any of the commonly used UK credit and debit cards. We use PayPal to process payments so you have the peace of mind of a secure, globally used system. Simply select which services your require from the CV Services section, add them to your basket then continue through to the PayPal checkout to make the payment. As soon as we receive your order, we will be in contact to confirm it and clarify the next steps.
Why do I pay up front?
In order to keep our prices as low as possible, we need to ensure we work efficiently. It saves a great deal of time if we have access to your details before discussing your specific requirements, so we take payment and request your details up front. This process also eliminates the cost of chasing clients for payment later on. We have tried to make our services and order process as simple as possible; you just need to select which service seems to match your situation and requirements. If on further discussion you need a different service to that ordered, we can issue a refund to your card or request additional payment if necessary.
What can I expect after I have placed an order?
Once we have received your order, you will receive an email confirmation from us, and also a payment receipt from PayPal. If you have selected the Bronze service, you will be sent our service information form. Once you have completed this form and sent it back to us, we will confirm receipt and start work on your new CV. If your current CV which you have uploaded contains information requested on the form, you can save time by indicating ‘see CV’.
If you have selected our Silver or Gold services, one of our consultants will contact you to arrange a convenient time to discuss your requirements in more detail.
How long does the service take?
Our standard turnaround for new CV delivery is within 72 hours of receipt of all required information. In most cases we will deliver your new CV well sooner. If you need a faster turnaround time, please select our Quick Turnaround option which allows us to prioritise your order for delivery within 24 hours. On the rare occasions we cannot offer the 24 hour service, we will inform you immediately at order stage and refund the money paid for it.
Where are you based?
We are Wiltshire based with a remote working team; we can provide services to anyone within the UK or further afield, provided they need a CV written in English and can use PayPal.
Will I need a face-to-face consultation?
No you won’t. We service our clients predominantly by email and on the telephone. We are working on your behalf to ensure your written job applications and technical interview competency give you the best chance of being invited to and impressing at interviews. Since we are not evaluating you personally in relation to specific roles, we are able to consult with you over the phone.
I am having technical problems and I’m not sure whether my order was completed successfully. What shall I do?
If you log back into your account, you can select your order and we will clarify the order status. If any part of the order process if incomplete, you will be directed through to completion. If you are still having technical problems, please email services@cv-quick.com and we will contact you as soon as we can. We won’t leave you stranded for days, we’ll be in touch just as soon as one of us becomes available.
